Simple tasks don't test brain's true complexity

(Rice University) New research strategies are needed to find out how information flows through the brain's neural networks, according to neuroscientists at Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine. In a new article in Neuron, the researchers suggest using complex experiments to test the most important properties of these networks.
